Shirley graduated from the University or the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. She moved to Australia in 2001 with her two children. Shirley’s interests include ballet, gymnastics and the theatre.
Kerry grew up in Brisbane and did her physiotherapy training at the University of Queensland. She has worked in central Queensland, Kingaroy and in Toowoomba. Kerry has worked in both the public and private health sectors. Her interests include snow and water skiing and spending time with her family.
Jayne is originally from Zimbabwe and moved to Toowoomba in 2004. She trained at the University of Cape Town in South Africa and has worked in both the public and private sectors. Jayne enjoys keeping active and keeps busy with her garden and quilting projects.
Psychological and Mental Health Therapist
Sharon has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Masters in Forensic Mental Health majoring in Suicide prevention and Risk Assessment. She has also undertaken post graduate studies in anxiety and depression with Beyond Blue, and loss and grief counselling with SIDS and KIDS Qld. Sharon has recently done further studies in Family Law support counselling.
Sharon completed studies in supporting clients with gender dysphoria and adolescent anxiety. She also has a special interest supporting pregnancy, both high risk and premature births as well as infertility. Sharon loves spending time with her three cherubs and her husband, traveling and making the most out of each day.
Before becoming a psychologist, John worked almost exclusively in the field of education, at all levels (from pre-school to University and adult education), both in Australia and overseas.
Since 1993, he has worked as a relationship counsellor with Relationships Australia, as a school counsellor and in the private sector as a psychologist.
John is currently contracted by the Federal Government, through the Primary Health Network, to provide psychological services in rural and remote areas of Queensland.
